Celebrate the journey of local artist Charles Vess in this retrospective exhibit featuring his creations in fantasy and illustration. Original and giclee works of this internationally renowned artist are on view and available to add to your art collection. Copies of Charles Vess' recent book release, Drawing Down The Moon ~The Art Of Charles Vess~, will also be available for purchase and signing by the artist.

 

The Gallery is located adjacent to the Dining Room of The Martha Washington Hotel & Spa. Offering a diverse collection of fine art, The Gallery prides itself in representing a core group of talented artists who reside in our region, several of who have been recognized on a national and international scale.  The Gallery's collection includes original works of Appalachian landscapes in oils, watercolors, and fabric; fantasy, contemporary and nature art themes created with various mediums on canvas and paper; hand painted glassworks, wood creations turned from indigenous tress of the region, and glass blown fine art jewelry.  The Gallery also offers a special collection of fine art photographic architectural and scenic images of the Martha Washington Hotel, sold exclusively in The Gallery.
